Beckford Contractors Limited was established in September 2001 with the intention of providing Chartered Surveying Companies and Managing Agents with a professional and reliable construction and decorating service. The Directors, having over fifty years experience within the Construction Industry, oversee a proactive management team on every project to ensure the highest standard of workmanship.
Specialising in internal and external refurbishment projects within London and the Home Counties, we undertake projects ranging in value from £10k to £1.5 million. We have an enviable Client list and have worked on some of London’s most prestigious properties.
We are members of the Federation of Master Builders and have obtained approval for the Government Trustmark Scheme. We are also members of the Dulux Contract Partnership scheme.
We pay great attention to the requirements of our Clients and are constantly striving to improve quality and standards of workmanship to ensure continued Client satisfaction.

The Directors of Beckford Contractors Limited understand Health and Safety forms a fundamental part of our business. As such, we are fully committed to ensuring all management staff and operatives are confident and qualified to undertake day to day tasks. By continual appraisal of our employees training needs we ensure their competence to perform duties, whilst safeguarding our compliance with current legislation.
Having a good working knowledge of the CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations 2015 we are fully compliant in our role as Principal Contractor. We directly employ a dedicated IOSH member as our Safety Officer to oversee all internal aspects of Health and Safety for the company. All operatives are confident in the knowledge they are able to discuss any concerns, without delay, pertaining to Health & Safety.
We also afford our Safety Officer the necessary time and facilities to ensure training is kept up to date with current legislation.
The Directors have also appointed Lighthouse Safety Training as our Health and Safety Consultants. Working in close contact with our own Safety Officer we ensure we are kept abreast of any changes to current legislation. As an independent external consultant, part of their duty is to provide us with regular unannounced site inspections, monitoring and auditing.
They also provide us with ongoing training for both management staff and operatives.
